Bus Station, Paignton

Saturday 5 March 2022.

I took this shot on Day 1 (of 2) of my first photography road trip – a couple of days in Torbay, Devon. It’s of the roof canopy over the passenger waiting area at Paignton Bus Station. I like the rich colours coupled with the random splodges of moss, bird muck and other detritus. From Paignton I went on to Torquay and the following day to Teignmouth – the latter delivering up another great phone box ad for Cornetto ice creams. Life seems to improve on finding another run-down phone box.
